Is this beneficial on your acrylic backboards if we won't be dunking?
A:Yes. FT36-HFM provides necessary rim support to prevent a plain 36” tall backboard from cracking. An unsupported acrylic backboard can crack from just the force of the ball hitting the rim from a jump shot. Never attach a basketball rim to an acrylic or glass backboard without proper rim support behind the backboard.
