RoofMaster Adjustment
The RoofMaster offers infinite adjustability for the customer who has no place for a pole mounted system.
No other system compares to the RoofMaster from First Team. The unit is versatile enough to mount to virtually any roof pitch. The RoofMaster is infinitely adjustable with the industry's widest range of height adjustment. With a simple turn of the hand-crank the RoofMaster offers an adjustment range of up to 2 ½ feet (10' – 7 ½').
An easy-to-read rim height indicator displays the exact height of the rim.

Questions & Answers about RoofMaster™ Roof Mount Basketball Goal
4 questions
Have a question?
Ask below and we'll email you when it's answered.
- 0Q:
What is the replacement crank for the RoofMaster and how do I install it?
A:The FT1400-CRK is the replacement crank for the RoofMaster. You will keep and reuse the eye bolt from your current crank. Lower the unit down or prop it up, remove the two bolts that keep it attached to the unit, reverse the process and install the new crank. Once that is done, remove the eye bolt from your old crank and the handle from the new crank, then attach the eye bolt.
- 0Q:
Can I get the Roofmaster with a smoked backboard instead of clear?
A:Yes, if you order Roofmaster Eclipse, the kit will include the smoked backboard (FT221SM) instead of clear one. All Roofmaster models work on a flat roof.
- 0Q:
Can the Roofmaster be mounted on a flat roof?
A:Yes, it is capable of being mounted on a flat surface.
- 0Q:
How does the Roofmaster mount to a flat roof and what is the overhang at different heights?
A:The assembly instructions provide guidance on how to mount it to a flat roof. The extension changes as it moves through its range of motion. The longest extension will be when the arms are horizontal. The max extension should be roughly 41" when arms are in horizontal position.
