WallMonster Adjustment
First Team's WallMonster adjustable basketball goal is a convenient, cost effective choice when an adjustable wall mounted basketball unit is needed. The WallMonster is great for all ages. The built in adjustment mechanism can be operated from ground level using the removable crank handle provided. Adjustments can be made without the use of a ladder.
The WallMonster is extremely versatile. It can be installed with either a 36" offset or a 48" offset making it a perfect choice for a wide variety of indoor or outdoor basketball courts. The all steel construction is powder coated black for weather protection and a sleek look. An easy to read rim height indicator shows the height of the rim as the unit is adjusted. For 48" offset installations, the rim height is adjustable from 10' down to 7 ½' while 36" offset installation can lower down to 6 ½'.

Questions & Answers about WallMonster™ Wall Mount Basketball Goal
8 questions
Have a question?
Ask below and we'll email you when it's answered.
- 0Q:
What is the WallMonster install height for different offsets?
A:It can be installed at 74.5" for a 36" offset with rim at 10'. Or it can be installed at 92.5" for a 48" offset with rim at 10'.
- 0Q:
What is the maximum wall mount extension distance available?
A:Our farthest extension is 12' off the wall. SuperMount82 or FoldaMount82. The telescoping feature does not reach to 13' it will only be 12'. If you purchase the optional height adjuster then it would reach 12'3" at the most.
- 0Q:
Do you have an electric tool to adjust the WallMonster goal system?
A:We do not have an electric tool for the WallMonster.
- 0Q:
Do you sell just the wall mount for 72" backboards?
A:Yes, we have several options. Start with the WallMonster. All the SuperMount and FoldaMount units can hold a 72" backboard as well.
- 0Q:
Can you mount the WallMonster directly to a brick or block wall without the three 2x8's?
A:It is inadvisable. Additionally, it is important to understand when attaching to a brick wall it is necessary to bolt all the way through the wall. Securing to the brick only is unsafe and could result in the unit pulling the brick off the wall. If the block wall is hollow block then the answer is the same as brick.
- 0Q:
Can wall mounted units be attached to columns instead of walls?
A:We do not have any wall units that can be attached to columns. You could buy just the adjustable arm system, backboard and rim from the CHAMP or VECTOR in-ground system to attach to a column, but you would need to drill the column so you can bolt the arm system to it. This would be adjustable (change height up and down) but not retractable. The only retractable wall mount units we make are called FOLDAMOUNT which fold sideways against the wall when not in use, and they probably would not work for a column mount situation.
- 0Q:
Can wall mounted basketball goals be adjustable?
A:Yes, most all our wall mounted basketball units can be made adjustable. Most are 8-10 feet range. Widest range is WallMonster.
- 0Q:
Is the Supreme suitable for heavy play/competition?
A:Yes, it is 1/2" thick acrylic and will be durable. However, tempered glass is preferred for competition and most basketball leagues.
Customer Reviews for WallMonster™ Wall Mount Basketball Goal

Amazing. After receiving advice from multiple engineers on how to reinforce the wood studded gable above my garage, I finally installed my Wall Monster Arena. The ball bounce test on my 1/2" glass backboard is just like the First Team's posted video. It simply does not move, and also does not transfer sound throughout the house like my last goal did. The kids love it, and even played last night in 40 degree weather like I did growing up. My theory is, as my kids learn to hit shots from everywhere in the driveway, it will be a much smoother transition to shooting on the traditional gym backboards and rim. No more false confidence due to flimsy, forgiving backboards at home. The WallMonster Arena setup will force kids to focus on accuracy and touch , especially on bank shots. I may be sleeping on the couch for quite some time, but this was a great purchase. I see my job as a Dad is to set the kids up as well as possible with the tools to succeed. If they put in the work, they will see the results, and that same mantra translates directly to classwork and life in general. So instead of using cheat codes on NBA 2K while stuffing themselves on Oreos, my kids are now entrenched in friendly sibling rivalry playing knock out until bedtime. Who can put a price on that?
