The floor here is hardwood, and the goals are freestanding Thunder Arena portables that roll into place on weighted bases necessitating no sockets drilled into the wood or backboards hung from the structure overhead. That keeps the floor intact and lets the space flex between sports, which is why portables suit shared, multi-purpose facilities; volleyball standards share the same floor. The court sits inside a steel-frame metal building lit by tall perimeter windows.
