First Team's Stellar aluminum volleyball posts provide the flexibility and performance needed for today's demanding volleyball indoors or out! The Stellar is manufactured from heavy wall 3½" OD aluminum tubing yet is lightweight and easy to setup. The wormgear crank net tensioner will not backdrive and is the same tensioner used on our elite level volleyball units. Net height is easily adjusted anywhere from 96" down to 42" for all levels of competition volleyball play as well as tennis, badminton, pickleball and other net games. An easy to read net height indicator label is located on each post. To adjust the net simply loosen the securing knob on each net collar and slide net up or down, twist knob tight to secure.
Stellar volleyball posts fit perfectly into any existing 3 ½" floor sockets. If your existing floor sockets are 4" diameter, First Team will provide floor socket adapters free of charge upon request. A variety of Stellar packages are available to suit your needs and budget. Select from complete packages including floor sockets, post pads, antennas, and net rope covers. Or pick the package that includes only those features you require. Post pads are available in 16 colors and lettering is included with the purchase of any Stellar package that includes padding!
Stellar units meet all NCAA, USVBA and National High School Federation rules. So, when you're searching for a volleyball post system that can meet your demands top to bottom, don't settle for performance that is less than Stellar!

Questions & Answers about Stellar™ Recreational Volleyball Net System
7 questions
Have a question?
Ask below and we'll email you when it's answered.
- 0Q:
My church court width is 29 feet, and I am planning to install sleeves at 25 feet. Will the net system fit in it? Or the net will be loose? I know the net width is 29'6".
A:The standard STELLAR volleyball net will be too long. The actual official volleyball net length is 32'. Since the poles will be mounted at 25 feet apart, you will need to purchase our custom length volleyball net FT5002-CL. We will make the net length to whatever size you prefer. In this case, with volleyball poles 25 feet apart, we would normally recommend a 21' long net.
- 0Q:
Do you sell just the volleyball nets?
A:Yes, take a look at our FT5002 competition volleyball net.
- 0Q:
Can I use the Stellar post as a dual sided center post if I have a 4" floor pocket?
A:Yes, the Stellar post has the capability of being used as a dual sided center post. You will need to order a Floor spacer (FT5000SPC3.5) to reduce your socket from 4" down to 3.5" and then order an extra set of Stellar clamp hardware. The PortaCourt base is not designed for dual sided center post use.
- 0Q:
Can I use the FT5250UP center post with FT5250CH clamp hardware to have 2 different heights on either side for a Stellar volleyball system?
A:Yes, the Stellar Clamp hardware slides up and down the post. That will allow you to set the net at different heights, ranging from 96" down to 42". You will need to order 4 collars to allow it to set to 2 different net heights on the one center post.
- 0Q:
Where can I find volleyball court diagrams and positions?
A:Click the link for court diagrams at firstteaminc.com/diagrams
- 0Q:
What is the FT5250CH and how many collars are needed for two different net heights on one center post?
A:The FT5250CH is the Stellar Clamp hardware designed for a 3.5" OD post. The hardware includes the collars and winch. You will need to order 4 collars to allow it to set to 2 different net heights on one center post.
- 0Q:
Can the Stellar volleyball system be used for both volleyball and tennis?
A:The Stellar volleyball system is designed to allow the net and net tensioner to slide along the entire length of the post. However, standard volleyball nets have a 4"x4" mesh opening which is large enough for a tennis ball to pass through. We recommend a customized tennis net be used when playing tennis. Also note: volleyball poles are 36-37 feet apart, while official tennis posts are 42' apart.
